FlexiTex – Textured Finish Wall Coating

FlexiTex is a thick cement-like consistency water-based flexible Wall Coating that can also be applied by brush, trowel or textured roller.

FlexiTex wall coatings are water /resin-based therefore they provide your property with superior protection, especially when compared to other ordinary textured wall coatings.

FlexiTex is designed with a 200% elongation ability which results in being able to bridge over hairline cracks stopping any water/moisture from penetrating the existing render

FlexiTex Texture Finish can be used on primed external timber/masonry surfaces, and can also be used in the Portacabin, Park Home and Construction industry. It is used on almost any type of prepared surface.

Overview

FlexiTex Texture Finish has a thick, cement-like consistency.

It will give you years of protection when applied and maintained correctly.

Our product contains the most up-to-date, effective and environmentally friendly mould and algae preventatives. Laboratory tested against a large range of fungi, algae and spores.

It can be worked with while still wet to obtain a wide variety of designs, patterns and textures.

The coating is extremely effective for filling cracks that are bigger than the hairline along with other irregularities on the substrate.

FlexiTex Texture Finish will not crack or graze during the movement of the substrate caused by normal expansion and contraction.

Unlike some Texture Finishes, FlexiTex allows the substrate to breathe whilst maintaining total water and weather protection.

All coverings are available in 20-litre tubs, 200-litre and 1000-litre IBCs.

No mixing is required, it’s all ready for you to use.

When it comes to the cleaning of the equipment it is as simple as rinsing with clean tap water whilst the coating is still wet.

Application

Recommended application is by brush, trowel or rolled with a texture/patterned roller or “comb”, to achieve the required finish.

• Coverage: 1 – 1.5 metre square per litre.
• Recommended application thickness: 2500 – 9500 microns WFT.
• Drying time at 20 degrees Celsius at 60% RH:
• Surface dry: 6 – 12 hours
• Thorough dry: 24 – 72 hours (Depending on application thickness).

Drying times are given only as a guide, as the drying can be greatly enhanced by warm weather.

Conversely, drying times will be greatly impaired in wet damp weather, or where there is high humidity.

Do not apply in temperatures below 5 degrees Celsius.
